Building on the success of the NFDA Parliamentary Engagement Programme a number of dealership visits with MPs and MEPs have taken place over the past months. The dealership visits provide politicians with a greater understanding of the motor retail sector, including the challenges it faces and the contribution it makes to local economies. Recent visits have included:

- Bristol Street Motors (Vertu), Stroud – David Drew MP
- Donalds Mazda, Stamford – Nick Boles MP
- Eden Vauxhall, Christchurch – Sir Chris Chope OBE MP

The NFDA Spring Ball took place over the weekend at the prestigious Grove Resort in Hertfordshire. The Manufacturer, Industry Partner and Recognition Awards were presented on the night – see details below – huge congratulations to all our winners. An enjoyable and entertaining evening was had by all. We will announce the date of our event in 2019 shortly.
Finally, members will soon be receiving our quarterly magazine ‘The Voice.’ The next issues includes an update on the NFDA’s lobbying activity, Drive My Career, a GDPR round up plus an interview with NFDA member John O’Hanlon from Waylands in Reading.
