As reported last week, there has been much uncertainty surrounding the issue of the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) – a new global regulation (test) for measuring the level of air pollutants, CO2 emissions and energy consumption in cars and vans. We are holding a WLTP workshop for members on the morning of Tuesday 17 July at the Hilton Hotel in Warwick. We have also extended an invitation to vehicle manufacturers. Following four months of operation, Drive My Career’s strategies to attract young talent to the automotive industry continue to be improved. Just a reminder to NFDA member that the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills has two Academy sites in the Midlands and the North, which focus on MOT training, annual training and technical training. A full outline of what the Academy offers members at preferential rates is featured in this week’s news.
