The FCA published an Evaluation Report this week on their intervention in relation to the GAP market. Positively, FCA was satisfied with the impact of their previously introduced remedies on GAP insurance. NFDA will now be studying the paper and will advise members of any updates. More details are in this week’s news.
Please be aware that the DVLA have advised that further upgrade work is being carried out on Sunday 5 August between 2pm and 6am on Monday 6 August. DVLA’s Vehicle Management Services will be the main external services that will be impacted and they would like to apologise to dealers for this inconvenience.
Finally, the deadline response date for the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey has now closed. The results of the survey will be published on Monday 3 September to dealers, manufacturers and the press.
