The NFDA Summer 2018 Dealer Attitude Survey results will be published on Monday 3 September. The survey has received a high response rate so thank you to all dealers that took part. The survey allows the NFDA to lobby manufacturers on behalf of dealers to improve the relationship and balance of power between dealers and manufacturers. I will be meeting with a number of manufacturer Chief Executives to discuss the results over the coming weeks. The NFDA’s unique website portal ‘Drive My Career’ is gathering tremendous pace. Finally, we have the next round of NFDA regional dealer forums taking place during September around the country. These meetings give members the opportunity to discuss common industry issues with like-minded dealers from a range of franchises. They also give the members the opportunity to hear first-hand what your trade association is doing on your behalf. Topics for discussion will include the Dealer Attitude Survey, WLTP, multi-user vehicles and the current and future state of the market.
