For the first time, NFDA will enter Bangers4Ben to raise money for BEN, the automotive charity which provides support for life to those working in the automotive industry and their families.
Tom and Gabi will be driving across Europe in a dressed-up car worth no more than £750 which was kindly donated by Marshall Motor Group. After the trip, the bangers will be sold at auctions with all the money going to BEN. Last year, £59,000 was raised, but this year is Bangers4Ben's 10th anniversary and we all want to do better!
The challenge is to raise more than £2,000 from fundraising and the sale of the banger.
Any help would be much appreciated, it all adds up! But if you feel generous enough to donate £100, we would like to stick your company’s logo on our car and include you in all our social media promotions we will be doing during the trip. The Route:
Day One: Weybridge to Reims, France via the Channel Tunnel (288 miles)
Day Two: Reims to Stuttgart (home of Porsche), Germany (311 miles)
Day Three: Stuttgart to Bruges, Belgium (402 miles)
Day Four: Bruges to a mystery location (around 300 miles)
Day Five: Head Home
