Dear Colleague

Next week I will be attending the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham. The conference will provide NFDA with an ideal opportunity to discuss key issues currently facing our industry including motor finance, diesel the retail automotive sector’s level of investment and of course Brexit. I have a number of meetings scheduled with relevant MPs and Ministers during the conference to discuss these topics. We will keep you updated.

As you will be aware the Summer 2018 NFDA Dealer Attitude survey was published earlier this month. The survey has clearly ‘hit the spot’ with a number of manufacturers, in particular Citroen and Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi have climbed up the rankings this time around and are very much encouraged by the responses from their dealer network, whilst Citroen recently issued a press release stating their results were ‘horrendous’ and will be going to greater lengths to support its retailers. See full articles in this week’s news.

Finally, next week NFDA will be entering Bangers4BEN and drive across Europe to raise money for the motor industry charity. To show your support for this worthy cause you can donate by visiting http://bit.ly/2Ngm20m. Thanks to all those who have already made their donation!
