Dear Colleague,

NFDA has now launched the pilot phase of the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme. EVA is a set of standards for retailers, developed by NFDA and endorsed by the Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST) who will certify retailers in the EV sector. The slots for the free pilot phase will be allocated to ensure a fair geographical representation of the UK. Read more in today’s news and to sign up for the pilot, please email eva@rmif.co.uk.

A recent update from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) shows that the number of cars failing emissions tests has grown significantly since the new MOT introduced stricter emission rules on 20 May 2018. Taking many of these vehicles off the road has also helped improve air quality. Please find more details in today’s news.

Bookings for the NFDA Spring Ball are now open! It will be taking place on Saturday 11 May 2019 at The Grove Resort, Hertfordshire. The evening provides a unique opportunity to network and enjoy an evening of good food, fine wine and first-class entertainment. For ticket information and to book your place please email louise.woods@rmif.co.uk
