Dear Colleague,

Today we published the NFDA Plug-In Vehicle Guide to help retailers inform consumers about the benefits and implications of owning a plug-in car. The guide has been developed in association with the Energy Saving Trust (EST), ZAP-MAP and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV). Please find more information in today’s newsletter and email louise.woods@rmif.co.uk to receive your copy of the guide.

This week saw the Prime Minister Theresa May survive the vote of confidence meaning that she will remain as leader of the Tory party and continue the negotiations on Brexit. We will continue to call for clarity which would benefit both businesses and consumers.

Next week, we will publish the Winter edition of our quarterly magazine, The Voice. This issue includes a round-up of all the main developments of 2018 including Drive My Career, our recent Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme and the new Electric Vehicle Dealer Attitude Survey. Watch this space.

Northampton and Bristol closed the December round of NFDA regional meetings. New and used car markets, aftersales, HR & employment, F&I and the developing plug-in electric vehicle market were the main topics of discussion. The dates and venues of our 2019 regional meetings are now available on our website at https://www.nfda-uk.co.uk/press-room/events. Please contact louise.woods@rmif.co.uk to book your attendance.

NFDA is your trade association: we represent, you benefit. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01788 538 303.
