The 29 August 2019 deadline for making Payment Protection insurance (PPI) complaints is fast approaching.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has recently shared template letters for businesses who consider they have mailing obligations under PS19/2.

The FCA has highlighted that they would like firms to use these templates and their team has worked with stakeholders to make them as clear and jargon free as possible.

As a result, the FCA would ask that firms generally keep any changes to any of the templates to the minimum.

In addition to the letters, there is also an information sheet which includes guidance on the issue.
