Dear Colleague

A reminder that we start our regional dealer forums next week beginning with Bristol on Thursday. The remainder of the meetings will be held through June including the Southern Region which will be held at the CDX show at Farnborough. In addition to the NFDA regional dealer forums we hold a number of working groups which focus on specific issues: . Finance and Insurance, Used Cars, Aftersales and HR. We are also introducing a new group to look at IT and Data issues which will hold its inaugural meeting on 20 June. The meetings are held regularly in London and if you have a specific interest in any of these topics and would like to attend a meeting lets us know. Please contact louise.woods@rmif.co.uk for further details.

This week I have been visiting a number of our members in Northern Ireland to keep them updated on issues such as WLTP, dealer/manufacturer relationships, the market outlook, finance and insurance and regulatory issues. We have also held our regular quarterly joint meeting with the Finance and Leasing Association where we discussed the FCA’s Motor Finance Review.

As the DVLA continue to improve their online services for retailers, manufacturers and consumers we have included in this week’s news an update from the DVLA on f the new’ Register a Vehicle (RaV) service’ and changes to the V5C registration certificate.

The NFDA team will be exhibiting at Car Dealer Expo on Wednesday 12 June at Farnborough International Centre. Please come and meet the team on stand number A18 and we can update you on the work we are doing for you as your trade association.

NFDA is your trade association: we represent, you benefit. Please contact our member helpline on 01788 538303, if you require any assistance.
