New passenger car registrations declined by -4.9% in June as uncertainty continues to affect buyers. Although sales of alternative fuel vehicles decreased, battery electric vehicles rose by 61.7% despite significant supply challenges. Positively, the new van market continued to grow, up by 13.5% in June driven by demand for vans under 2 tonnes and between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes. Please find more information below.
The Alliance of European Car Dealers and Repairers (AECDR) has now officially been formed. The primary objective of the alliance is to promote the interests of European car dealers and repairers at a European level. AECDR has already contributed to the European Commission’s consultation on the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation. Please find more details below.
