Dear Colleague

This week I am attending the NADA Convention in San Francisco. Over 22,000 visitors are expected from across the automotive globe and I will be meeting with a number of my counterparts from China, Canada, India, Australia, Europe and of course NADA officials, to discuss common issues affecting the automotive industry. I will report further in next week’s issue of NFDA news.

The NFDA has partnered with the LowCVP (Low Carbon Vehicle Project) to produce a leaflet for retailers to show consumers how to benefit from the new Worldwide Harmonised Light Testing Procedure (WLTP) emission figures. For a copy of the leaflet please email louise.woods@rmif.co.uk - see more information below.

The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) is consulting with stakeholders on consumer law guidance for car dealers. The NFDA will be responding to the consultation and would value any of your thoughts and comments on the two documents in the consultation. Further, we would also urge members to consider responding themselves as this will give additional weight to our views. Please see more information in this week’s NFDA news.
