The Department for Transport (DfT) has announced additional funds for electric vehicle chargepoints. This is a step in the right direction, although we urge the Government to continue to invest to improve the charging infrastructure. Find more details in the news.
This week’s used car market figures showed that used car transactions declined by -2.8% in the second quarter of 2019. It is important to note that we are comparing this year’s results with an extremely strong performance in 2018 and the market remains at high levels.
The latest DfT’s National Travel Survey showed a large increase in the number of people aged 17 to 20 with a driving licence in 2018 compared to a year earlier. In general, over the last 40 years, the proportion of people having a driving licence has significantly grown. Please find more information below.
