Dear Colleague,

This week, we published the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey Summer 2019. The results revealed a minor decrease in average dealer satisfaction levels with their manufacturers. Lexus topped the survey, while Honda was the most improved manufacturer. Please find more details in this week’s news and download the summary report here.

New passenger car registrations figures showed a decline in new car sales of -1.6% in August. The introduction of WLTP in September last year and RDE this year have affected the market which is likely to remain distorted over the next months. Battery electric vehicles saw a robust uplift. Light commercials marked eight-consecutive months of growth in August, up 41%. More information below.
