This week, we published the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey Summer 2019. The results revealed a minor decrease in average dealer satisfaction levels with their manufacturers. New passenger car registrations figures showed a decline in new car sales of -1.6% in August. The introduction of WLTP in September last year and RDE this year have affected the market which is likely to remain distorted over the next months. Battery electric vehicles saw a robust uplift. Light commercials marked eight-consecutive months of growth in August, up 41%. More information below.
