Dear Colleague,

Next week, I will be attending the Labour Party Conference. It will provide NFDA with an ideal opportunity to meet with MPs, parliamentarians and stakeholders and raise key issues affecting our members. In particular, we will discuss Brexit and the post-Brexit regulatory environment, the decline in diesel sales and benefits of the latest diesel cars and Government’s support for dealers during the transition to electric vehicles. We will keep you updated.

As part of their ‘Get Ready for Brexit’ campaign, the Government will be delivering 30 events for businesses across the UK, to ensure that as many organisations as possible are preparing for Brexit. Some of these events have already taken place, please find more details in the news.

On Wednesday, we will hold our North East Regional Meeting in York. The relationship between dealers and manufacturers, new and used car market, our Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation scheme and Drive My Career, as well as and regulatory changes affecting dealers will be the main themes of discussion. Our members’ attendance is vitally important. Please email nfda@rmif.co.uk for more information or to register to attend.

Co-hosted by NFDA, AM Live will be back on 7 November 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham. The event is free to attend for dealers, you can register for your ticket here. For more information, please visit www.automotivemanagementlive.co.uk
