This week, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) launched a consultation to propose changes to discretionary finance commission models. We have had a number of meetings with the FCA and continue to regularly liaise with them. We highlighted that the new rules must be proportionate to ensure a satisfactory outcome for both consumers and retailers. The FCA will be consulting on the new rules until 15 January 2020 and plans to publish final rules later in 2020. Please find a summary in the newsletter.
The autumn 2019 edition of our magazine, The Voice, has been published. It features updates on the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme, Drive My Career, the latest NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey, the NFDA Spring Ball and more.
