Dear Colleague,

This week we published the ‘Dealer Insight’ of the NFDA Consumer Attitude Survey 2019. It is positive to see that franchised retailers and physical dealerships continue to play a key role in consumers’ buying journey. According to our respondents, 93% of new cars were purchased at franchised dealerships and customers placed significant value on their interaction with retailers. Please find more details below.

With the uncertainty surrounding the UK political environment, we have launched a Brexit Dealer Toolkit to assist our members. It includes guidance on areas that may change after Brexit such as trade and tariffs, customs and finance; also, our Brexit portal is now live at https://www.nfda-uk.co.uk/brexit. Next week, we will be in Belfast to hold a Brexit Dealer Guidance Forum. If you have any Brexit related questions, please email brexit@rmif.co.uk.

We have recently announced the third speaker for our NFDA EV Marketplace Seminar taking place on 3 December in Warwick. Stig Saeveland is the CEO of Hedin Automotive Norway, the largest BMW dealer group in Scandinavia. Alongside other keynote speakers, he will provide a key insight into the effects of the electrification for dealerships. Please find more information in the newsletter and email nfda@rmif.co.uk or click here to get your ticket.
