As expected, new passenger car registration figures showed the market was heavily affected during the lockdown as dealerships remained closed. We highlighted it will be vital to evaluate a package of measures to support the sector and stimulate consumer confidence over the coming months. Northern Ireland Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon has announced that a one-year MOT temporary exemption certificate (TEC) for owners of all eligible cars, goods vehicles, trailers and motorcycles will be processed automatically from Monday 11 May. Please find more information in the news.
