Every six months, NFDA collects the views of franchised car dealers on their ongoing relationship with their manufacturers. The NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey is the only Survey in the industry which is non-profit making and completely independent of any manufacturer/supplier involvement. The results and, in particular, the trends identified are increasingly the subject of manufacturer interest and provide an invaluable platform for airing dealer concerns.

The summer 2020 edition of the survey is conducted entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and dealers should have now received their unique link to complete the survey. The email is titled ‘NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey’. There is a chance that for a small number of individuals the email containing your link to the survey has ended up in the Spam/Junk folder. In this case, simply move this email back into your main inbox and click on the links to access the surveys.

The Dealer Attitude Survey is critical in allowing the NFDA to lobby manufacturers on behalf of dealers to improve the relationship and balance of power between dealers and manufacturers. It is therefore essential that we receive a response to the survey in order to maintain its credibility as the industry’s leading independent survey. We would like your feedback – good or bad !

In addition to the usual survey questions, there is also a specific, short, questionnaire relating to EVs and plug-in vehicles. The NFDA would like to know what you, the dealers, are experiencing and the challenges you are facing with these vehicles. This information will enable NFDA to lobby manufacturers about dealer concerns.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Jordi.Skilbeck@rmif.co.uk

We look forward to receiving your completed questionnaires which should be returned no later than Friday 31 July 2020.
