Dear Colleague,
Ahead of next week’s plate change, we have published a practical new car buying checklist for consumers circulated to all regional media. Following the robust demand in the new and used sectors over the past weeks, it will be interesting to see what next month’s market has in store and how consumers will respond.
This week, we reminded dealers that it is a legal requirement to display the new car environmental label on or near each new passenger car on sale. Earlier this year, we worked with LowCVP to produce a guide that dealers can use to explain to their customers how to read the label. For more information, please email nfda@rmif.co.uk.
Key dealer issues including the dealer/manufacturer relationship with the results of the latest NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey, motor finance, as well as any trends facing the new and used car market will be discussed at the NFDA regional meetings taking place in September on Teams. Find more details below and email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk to attend – your feedback is vital.
NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our member helpline at 01788 538303.
