Dear Colleague,

New car sales declined by -5.8% in August, but private demand remained stable. Dealerships have been busy since reopening and retailers are optimistic ahead of the plate change month. The new light commercial vehicle market saw a more significant decrease of 16.1% due to a number of external factors affecting demand and supply. Please find more details in the news.

On Monday, we will publish the results of the latest NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey. The survey has been conducted entirely online for the first time and we have had a record high response rate. Thanks to all those who have provided their feedback – interesting results.
