The wide range of DVLA transactions that you can do online includes:
Tell DVLA you have sold or bought a vehicle
Use this service to tell DVLA when you have sold or bought a vehicle. This service is available from 7am to 7pm.
Tax a car, motorcycle or other vehicle using a reference number from:
- a recent reminder (V11) or ‘last chance’ warning letter from DVLA
- vehicle log-book (V5C)
- the green ‘new keeper’ slip from a log-book
