Dear Colleague

Ahead of the reopening of dealerships on 12 April, we are currently looking at the current NFDA/SMMT guidance to ensure it is fully compliant with the Government guidelines. We will shortly circulate our best-practice guide for automotive retail.

This week, the NFDA ‘Better Regulations’ working group met to discuss and finalise our response to the EU’s Inception Impact Assessment consultation regarding the revison of the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation. We will update you in due course.

A reminder: NFDA has compiled a guide for dealers experiencing difficulty accessing ‘Local Restrictions Support Grants’. If you have not received the Lockdown Grants Dealer Guide, please contact us.

Last chance to obtain your Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation: the deadline to apply to receive your EVA accreditation is 31 March. If you would like to become ‘EVA Approved’ and obtain your EVA badge of approval please email eva@rmif.co.uk as soon as possible.

NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: we are your trade association, please get in touch if you require any assistance or would like to receive any of the documents currently available to you; member helpline: 01788 538303 – email: nfda@rmif.co.uk.
