The latest Drive My Career survey investigated young people’s “confidence” and how this affects their job seeking approach.

Every month, Drive My Career questions its target audience to understand their perception of the automotive industry as well as their overall approach to job seeking.

Interestingly, respondents, who are mainly aged between 16 and 24 years old, indicated their levels of confidence about the job search process and/or their professional career as well as confidence about attending job interviews were higher than expected following feedback received previously by the Drive my Career team. However, the majority of respondents feel their limited work experience has a significant, detrimental effect on their chances of getting a job.

Drive My Career regularly questions its audience to understand what guidance and advice young jobseekers find most beneficial. About 7 in 10 would like guidance on how to approach job interview questions and writing a cover letter.
