Dear Colleague,

As we mentioned last week, there has been ‘noise’ about the advent of the ‘agency model’. As a result, NFDA, assisted by our retained legal advisers TLT, has set up a steering group of dealers to look at the issues and seek more clarity for the industry. We will keep members informed, but if in the meantime you have questions or concerns, please do contact me.

This week, Drive My Career has launched a new “Ambassador Scheme” to promote the success of colleagues working in automotive through a number of opportunities and inspire more young people to start a career in our sector. Sam Anscombe, Parts Advisor at Sytner, has been appointed as the first Ambassador. Please find further information below and if you are interested in the scheme, please email info@drivemycareer.co.uk.

On 22 July we will hold our Strategic EV Forum in conjunction with the MHA EV Alliance. The forum, taking place in Warwick, will provide dealers with practical recommendations to improve EV sales and aftersales process, evaluating commercial opportunities and optimise EV infrastructures. The event is free to attend for NFDA members; there are only a few spaces left which are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis: you can register here.

NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance or would like to discuss any specific issues, please do not hesitate to contact our member helpline on 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk
