As the industry is currently experiencing a considerable change especially surrounding the transition to EVs, Block Exemption Regulations and the discussions regarding new contracts, please do get in contact for guidance, to discuss these topics and update us on concerns you may have - we need as much information as possible to address these issues.

This week, the Government has published its Decarbonisation Plan providing a framework outlining how it aims to decarbonise all domestic transport by 2050. Positively, NFDA’s Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) was mentioned in the Government’s Delivery Plan as

one of the initiatives raising awareness of zero-emission vehicles and boosting consumer confidence. Please find more details below.

With the success of the vaccination scheme across the UK, Governments are looking lift most covid restrictions over the coming weeks. Please find below a summary of the main changes and answers to the most common questions members have been asking.

In August, we will be at the British Motor Show with EVA and Drive My Career exhibiting. At the show, on 19 August, we will also relaunch our Aftersales Working Group. With a new topic-led agenda, we will focus on the effects of EVs on your aftersales activities and we will devise a new outlook for the group for the coming months. You can sign up to attend here.
