DVLA has issued an urgent note to all users of RaV, regarding automated vehicles (AV field).
There are currently no AVs on the Secretary of State (SoS) list and with government legislation around AVs still pending, there should be no affirmative selection by people registering vehicles. However, a small amount of vehicles have been input by RaV users as being AVs.
DVLA urge users of the system to ensure they are using the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and checking the SoS list, before populating the AV field with “Y” (meaning Yes).
