Driving Digital is back by high demand and returns to Villa Park, Birmingham, on Wednesday 8 September.

Driving Digital is the National Franchised Dealers Association’s (NFDA) digital marketing event, which hosts a range of insightful and informed speakers from the industry, providing thought provoking presentations and Q & A opportunities.

The emergence of digitisation to a dealerships business plan has excelled over the course of the pandemic. We will be discussing the impact that the rapid adoption of online sales by both retailers and car buyers has had on the retailing landscape; to understand the opportunities it presents, and to hear first-hand how the leading businesses are driving efficiencies, going electric and green.

Auto Trader’s COO, Catherine Faiers, will provide the latest market insights, including the key trends in consumer behaviour over the course of pandemic, and how attitudes have changed since forecourts reopened in April. Catherine will also share her expectations for the market during the months ahead, including the growing appetite for online retailing and electric vehicles.

  • Ian Plummer, Auto Trader – Digital Retailing Research

Ian Plummer, Auto Trader’s commercial director, will exclusively share the key findings from a brand-new study conducted by ICDP in partnership with the NFDA and Auto Trader. The research will reveal the positive influence online retailing is having on businesses beyond driving sales and enhancing the consumer experience.

  • Neil Addley, Judge Service – Emerging from Lockdowns

Neil will share insight on buyers, reaction to lockdowns from a customer service perspective as well as “State of the Nation” research based on franchised dealers buyers attitudes.

  • Anita Fox, Facebook – Let’s Grow Electric

Anita will share the latest consumer research into the sentiment towards EV adoption and the trends according to facebook.
