Dear Colleague,

This weekend, NFDA’s employment platform Drive My Career and Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation scheme are exhibiting at the British Motor Show in Farnborough. Since Thursday, the EVA team has been providing impartial advice about EVs, whilst explaining the benefits of visiting an EV Approved retailer. The Drive My Career team is engaging with dozens young people and their families to discuss career opportunities in automotive and inspire talents to join the sector. Find more details in the news.

At the show, we also launched our redesigned Aftersales Working Group. The first, well-attended meeting allowed us to set the agenda for the coming months with a focus on attracting talent to the sector and assessing the impact of electrification on aftersales departments. The next meeting will take place in three months, if you would like to join us, please contact Rohima.Alam@rmif.co.uk.

Next Wednesday (25 August), our Electric Vehicle Regional Roadshow will take place via Microsoft Teams. NFDA members are invited to join us to get practical advice and key takeaways from industry speakers that will help ensure that your dealerships and staff are ready to meet the growing demand for EVs. Please email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk to register your interest.

Driving Digital is returning to Villa Park on 8 September 2021 and the event is free for NFDA members, you can register here to attend.
