Dear Colleague,
We have published the summer 2021 edition of the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey. The DAS received a high response rate and its findings revealed a marked improvement across the survey for most manufacturers, with the overall average score across all questions rising to 6.3 points out of 10. In particular, dealers showed satisfaction levels with their margins on used car sales and their alternative fuel vehicle offering. Please find further details below.
Our NFDA Northern Ireland (NFDA NI) division has been working on various issues affecting dealers, including MOT, the EV charging infrastructure and the end of petrol and diesel vehicle sales in 2030. We have shared our latest monthly update with all our NFDA NI members (the document can be found here). If you would like more information about NFDA NI, please email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.
The latest ONS figures showed that the UK labour market continues to recover, with the employment rate increasing and vacancies reaching a record high. Through Drive My Career, we continue to support the dealer groups who are actively recruiting and we have recently launched a number of campaigns to help our members attract candidates. For more information about how we can help via DMC, please email info@drivemycareer.co.uk.
NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our member helpline at 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk.
