Dear Colleague,

Following recent headlines about energy supply and the availability of fuel, we have been informed that most forecourts are operating normally. We are currently monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

We have announced the dates and locations of our NFDA regional meetings taking place in November. The dealer/manufacturer relationship, an analysis of the new and used car market as well as our transition to EVs, F&I and employment issues will be on the agenda. Please email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk to register to attend, further details in today’s newsletter.

Following the relaunch of our Aftersales Working Group, we will soon begin a new Aftersales survey asking our members questions regarding the size and scope of their aftersales departments. The findings of the survey will play a key part in the agenda for upcoming group meetings and provide essential data for dealers. Please find more information below.

Today, we held a well-attended and engaging virtual EV Working Group with contributions from Co Charger, covering the community aspects of electric vehicles, and MINA who offer solutions for company car users who charge their vehicles at home. Future topics will include ‘Scope 3’ emissions and environmental labels through communications with the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA). For more information, email paddy.oconnell@rmif.co.uk.
