Dear Colleague,

After an extremely interesting visit to the Labour Party Conference, where we engaged with a range of politicians, stakeholders and key industry figures, including Hilary Benn MP, we will be attending the Conservative Party Conference. As part of NFDA’s ongoing commitment to represent and lobby on behalf of franchised dealers, we will be meeting with Ministers, Members of Parliament and Lords to highlight the issues facing our members.

Also, last Friday, we held a positive meeting with representatives from the Department for Transport to discuss the key role played by franchised dealers in the transition to EVs, including the creation of ‘green jobs’. We will keep the dialogue going with Government and update our members, please find more information below.

Dates and locations for our next round of NFDA Regional Meetings have been announced. The status of current and future relationships between dealers and manufacturers, new/used car registrations and consumer demand, FCA guidance, as well as F&I, HR and EV related topics will be on the agenda. Our members’ input is vital to set our strategy - please join your regional meeting. For more information, contact lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.

This week, we published our monthly HR bulletin, including a roundup of employment related case studies and updates. If you would like to sign up to receive our bulletin every month or, for more information about our NFDA HR Working Group, please contact us.
