Dear Colleague,
This week we closed our November round of Dealer Member Regional Meetings. Discussions focused on the state of the new and used car markets, the relationship between dealers and manufacturers, forthcoming Block Exemption Regulations, F&I issues and regulatory changes. We have also looked at the challenges facing retailers looking to attract and retain talent as well as the obstacles and opportunities during the transition to zero emissions. These meetings are extremely useful to update you on our work and gain feedback to steer our future activities, thank you to all attendees. More details will follow, if you would like to register your interest for the meetings taking place in February 2022, please email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.
The latest figures from ACEA showed a marked decline in new car registrations across Europe as the global shortage of semiconductors and related components continues to impact the market. Please find more details below.
Our Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation scheme is open and retailers should contact eva@rmif.co.uk to apply to become EV Approved. This week, the latest EVA newsletter has also been published. If you are an EV Approved dealer and are not currently receiving our EVA communications or would like to obtain our promotional pack to assist you in promoting your EVA status, please contact us.
NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance or would like to discuss anything with us, please do not hesitate to contact our member helpline on 01788 538303 or email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.
