Dear Colleague,
On Monday, we published the results of our latest NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey. In the winter 2021/22 edition, we received a record 67% response rate with the results showing encouraging signs and rising average scores across most business areas. In particular, franchised dealers showed high satisfaction levels with current profit and total margins on used cars. Please find further details in the news.
I am currently at NADA in Las Vegas where I am meeting with members, colleagues, and NFDA counterparts from around the world. Yesterday, I spoke at the NADA international roundtable and provided an update on the issues affecting UK dealers including agencies, BER and the work we are undertaking. NFDA Chair David Newman gave an update on the market, in particular, looking at EVs. The full details of our visit will follow next week.
