NFDA is aware and alert to the CMA’s recently released consultation on how an agency model could be regulated, and strive to ensure parity between the UK and EU governance of such a model type. This week, the latest SMMT new car registration figures were released, revealing a -14.3% decrease year on year. Nevertheless, demand for electric vehicles remains strong and are performing very well.
NFDA welcomes the Government’s release of the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Mandate proposal, released on Thursday, the document re-assures businesses, and consumers of DfT’s commitment towards clean, green travel. The NFDA will be producing a response to this consultation, focusing on how best to support businesses during this transition period and to ensure the industry has the best chance of meeting these ambitious targets.
