Dear Colleague,

This week, we met with the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) to share our perspectives on the moves by manufacturers regarding their future strategy, in particular, the different types of ‘agency’ scenarios under discussion. We are also having ongoing meetings with the Alliance of European Car Dealers and Repairers (AECDR) and individual European dealer associations to discuss our responses to the European Commission on the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulations.

Meeting our members is crucial as we continue to lobby on your behalf to tackle the range of issues affecting our sector including the future of the dealer-manufacturer relationship, F&I, GDPR and more. Next week, we look forward to hosting our first NFDA Exec of the year on Tuesday and our HR Working Group on Thursday, while our next round of NFDA Regional Meetings will take place in February.
