Dear Colleague,

This week, I met with a number of NFDA’s European counterparts via the Alliance of European Car Dealers and Repairers (AECDR). Our discussions focused on the new Vertical Block Exemption Regulation (VBER) recently published by the European Commission. Further meetings and details will follow.

The NFDA Regional Meetings will take place next month across the UK. The Forthcoming Block Exemption renewals, agency models, Commission Disclosure, the FCA’s Consumer Duty and the New and used car markets are on the agenda. Our regionals are exclusive to NFDA Dealer Members. To register or request more information, please email lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.

The latest NFDA Northern Ireland newsletter has been published. Following a recent Steering Group meeting, this month’s update includes an overview of the most pressing issues facing dealers and the actions taken by the NFDA around the proposed changes to MOT, the issues presented by the current charging infrastructure and the Online Sales Tax. Please find further details in the news.
