Dear Colleague,

Following a busy start to the year, next week’s new passenger car and van registration figures will show initial insights into the 2022 market. New and used car sales, as well as the evolving scenarios around the dealer/manufacturer relationship, regulatory changes affecting our sector and many more industry issues around GDPR, F&I, Aftersales, and HR, are on the agenda for our Regional Dealer Meetings starting next week. We will be in Cobham on Tuesday and Stratford-Upon-Avon on Thursday – if you have not registered yet, please contact us, your attendance is vitally important to the NFDA.

Next week, NFDA is meeting, in person, with Northern Irish Assembly Members (MLAs) in Stormont. We will keep you updated.

A reminder: the deadline to complete the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey is fast approaching. To allow us to continue to best represent your interests with your respective manufacturers, it is crucial that we receive your feedback, positive or otherwise. Please find further details in the news.

The NFDA Spring Ball will be back on 2 April 2022! Taking place at the stunning Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, the Ball will provide the ideal opportunity to get back together, network and enjoy an evening of fine dining and celebration as we recognise the excellence in the automotive industry. Bookings are gathering pace, but we still have a number of ticket and sponsorship options available. Please contact lena.patel@rmif.co.uk for more information.

NFDA is the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance or to attend any of our meetings and events, please contact our member helpline at 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk.

Sue Robinson, NFDA Chief Executive
