On Thursday 10 November, NFDA partnered with Automotive Management Online for their annual AM Live event.

The event, that took place at the NEC in Birmingham, presented the perfect opportunity for the car retail industry to get together and share their experiences.

The day was very successful for the NFDA’s team as we had the opportunity to have stimulating conversations with many industry’s friends and get to meet inspiring people who want to innovate the industry.

Our stand attracted many people interested to know more about what the NFDA does and about our initiatives, the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme and Drive My Career.
We also had the chance to hand out our brand new framed certificated to accredited dealerships.
If you would like to request a certificate, email james.perman@rmif.co.uk.

Further, we had some interesting conversations about the career prospects in the Automotive Industry and the lack of awareness within it. We were proud to inform attendees about our Drive My Career initiative aimed to promote the career opportunities in the retail side of the automotive industry. If you wish to become a Drive My Career member, email Annaluce.cavalmoretti@rmif.co.uk.

NFDA’s retained legal advisor, Miles Trower Partner TLT LLP, held a very interesting seminar about the concept of ‘agency’. He touched on regulatory framework, competition law and block exemption changes. Please reach out to us if you wish to receive a copy of this presentation.

Overall the day was a huge success and we was delighted to have partnered with AM on this again, we are already looking forward to the next one.
