MOTOM, the tech-backed social network for used vehicle wholesalers, is delighted to announce its membership of the National Franchise Dealers Association (NFDA).

MOTOM brings a low-cost digital platform to the sector that promises to reimagine how motor vehicles are wholesaled and accelerate the buying and selling process from hours to minutes.

The NFDA represents franchised car and commercial vehicle retailers. There are more than 4,500 franchise outlets in the UK and over 540,000 people working in the automotive retail sector. The NFDA lobby on behalf of their members to ensure the voice of the dealers is heard and support them with a number of issues that impact automotive retail businesses on a day-to-day basis.

Julian Humphreys, CEO of MOTOM said “We are delighted to have aligned with the NFDA. The work they do, including policy and legislation changes, and industry issues in key areas such as used cars is critical, particularly in these times of challenge. We believe our technology, together with big data, can help and deliver enhanced profitability in used car wholesaling and further protect the space from the many disruptors targeting the sector.”

Symon Cook, Head of Operations & Member Services, said “The NFDA continue to look for ways to support its members through meaningful partnerships with product and service providers. With the fast-paced world of technology it is ever more important that we engage with class-leading partners that can evolve with the ever-changing demands placed on our members. MOTOM offers a robust, functional and feature-rich platform to showcase to our members.”
