Bristol Street Motors partners with EXCELR8 to defend the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship

EXCELR8 has revealed the Bristol Street Motors livery that it will carry as it bids to successfully defend the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) title this season.

The successful partnership will continue into 2023, as EXCELR8 once again fields a four-strong line-up in Britain’s premier racing series, with Ingram and 2022 team-mate Tom Chilton being joined by series newcomers Ronan Pearson and Nick Halstead.

Lookers acquires rental company Fourways Vehicle Solutions

Lookers has acquired Fourways Vehicle Solutions Limited, a vehicle hire and brokerage business based in Whitchurch, Shropshire.

The business provides a UK-wide vehicle rental service, and manages in excess of 7,000 rentals per annum and in 2022 had total revenue of £3.8m.

Lookers said that it sees significant opportunity for Fourways to grow its market share and to cater for Lookers own rental requirements at lower cost and with greater certainty.

Fourways will sit within Lookers Vehicle Solutions.

Appearing at Car Dealer Live this morning, Cambria Automobiles CEO Mark Lavery said that customers held the power when it came to a change in model.

The keynote interviewee told host James Baggott that the concept of agency sales was ‘curious’ and questioned whether it could bring ‘long-term sustainability and longevity’.
