This week, NFDA’s sister association, the National Association for Motor Auctions (NAMA) which represents auction houses across the UK was unveiled as the winner of the first-ever King’s Award for Enterprise, for their used vehicle condition grading scheme! An incredible achievement, with 200 initiatives taken into consideration for the award. A huge congratulations to NAMA Chair Andrew Walker, Paul Hill, and all the NAMA Members using the grading scheme for the past 10 years which is now recognised by remarketing associations across the world.

Auto Trader has released their latest ‘Road to 2030’ report, which you can find enclosed in this edition of NFDA News. The report offers extensive data relating to EV values and demand and insists Government needs to do more to put the road to 2030 “back on track”. In this call to Government, Auto Trader has stated that there must be fairer costs for charging, more incentives to make EVs more affordable, and initiatives to build used EV confidence; all of which NFDA agrees with and have called upon to Government before, in previous campaigns.

Finally, tomorrow we will be returning to The Grove Hotel for our annual Spring Ball celebration! We are extremely excited to welcome back new and familiar faces for what will be a thoroughly enjoyable night. There will be a handful of awards presented on the night and we look forward to sharing these with the industry next week!
