Dear Colleagues,

NFDA and its retained specialist legal advisers, TLT, remains in dialogue with the CMA for on-going progression of MVBER guidance. In this edition of NFDA news, you will find the CMA’s response to NFDA’s recommendations of our industry’s competition regulation. The response from the CMA is positive, they understand both the financial and consumer implications that potential MVBER and agency models could have on the sector and will now be paying close attention to its developments. Going forward, NFDA will be preparing a more detailed summary of the MVBEO guidelines, which will also remind members of the core aftersales provisions of the regulation and will be available to members upon request.

This week, the National Motorcycle Dealers Association (NMDA) launched its Spring 2023 edition of their Dealer Attitude Survey. For this edition, NMDA partnered with a new data analyst company, Metryx, to revamp the DAS. NFDA will also be updating the Dealer Attitude Survey for Summer 2023. Please find the NMDA DAS enclosed in this edition of the news.
