This week, NFDA continued its parliamentary engagement programme by hosting a dinner at the House of Lords with dealers, MPs and Lords. It is important that we continue to highlight the size and significance of the automotive retail sector to parliamentary figures, ensuring that the issues facing our sector are addressed. The transition to Net-Zero and the need for charging infrastructure was one factor which gained a great deal of traction over the course of the evening.

Next week we will be flying to Dallas for the highly anticipated NADA Show 2023! It will be extremely valuable to meet with our US, Australian, and Canadian colleagues, to discuss the agency issues surrounding dealer/manufacturer engagement. If you are travelling as part of the NFDA package and have any last minute questions or requirements, please do reach out to us at lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.

Finally, the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey is live and we encourage all of our dealer members to complete this in due time. The NFDA DAS presents an insightful and comprehensive overview of the automotive sector and the health of franchised dealers’ business relationships with their respective manufacturers. We look forward to sharing with you the latest results in the coming months.
