NFDA is pleased to announce that the Summer 2023 edition of the Dealer Attitude Survey will once again go live from next week. The Dealer Attitude Survey remains as the primary benchmark report for the industry, offering a key indication towards the health of business relationships between franchised dealers and their respective manufacturers. It is therefore essential that we receive a response to the survey, and I encourage you to prompt your dealership network to complete the survey once it goes live next Monday 31 July.
Next week the new Consumer Duty will also come into effect. NFDA, along with its F&I working group, have been working closely with the FCA to ensure franchised dealers in the UK have the necessary support and guidance to ensure they are compliant. For retailers seeking assistance or further discussions on the implementation of The Duty, please contact the NFDA helpline.
Finally, today the High Court has officially ruled the expansion of London’s Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) as ‘lawful’. This decision comes after a legal dispute from five councils within London, challenging the ULEZ expansion which is set to be introduced from 29 August. If you are a dealer that will be operating within this zone and you have any concerns on how it will affect your business, then please contact us.
