NFDA will once again be a part of the British Motor Show, taking place from the 17 to the 20 of August 2023 in Farnborough.

This event serves as a prime platform for NFDA to reaffirm its commitment to promoting career opportunities, fostering innovation, and driving forward the electrification revolution within the automotive industry.

A significant aspect of NFDA's participation is its collaboration with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Tech Hub. This collaboration offers an ideal avenue for NFDA's Drive My Career initiative to shine. Every day from 10:50-11:20 am, our Drive My Career team will be available to provide invaluable insights into pursuing a career within the automotive industry. They will be available to answer questions and offer guidance, ensuring that young minds are well-informed about the diverse opportunities within the sector.

Furthermore, NFDA is proud to champion the electrification movement within the automotive industry. Our team will be ready to address consumer inquiries related to various aspects of the electric vehicle (EV) journey, including charging infrastructure, available models, and suitability. Attendees will also be encouraged to explore their local EVA Accredited dealership for comprehensive EV-related information.

A highlight of NFDA's participation at the event is the "Future of Automotive Retailing" session, scheduled for 17 August from 10:30 -12:00. Distinguished speakers, including Sue Robinson, NFDA Chief Executive, Nick King, Auto Trader Market Research and Insights Director, Steve Young, ICDP Managing Director, and Alastair Cassels, MHA Partner, will be sharing their insights on industry’s trends. Those interested in attending this session can secure their spot by contacting Lena Patel at lena.patel@rmif.co.uk. Attendees of the session will receive complimentary admission to the British Motor Show and free parking on the day.
