This week, I attended the ICDP Conference in France and met a number of international industry colleagues. The conference offered a great deal of insight into the future landscape of automotive retail, industry challenges plus discusses the topics of EVs & agency; all of interest to both dealers and manufacturers. The NFDA team also attended the Motor Trader Retailing Expo at Silverstone racetrack which provided the opportunity to meet college students and discuss career opportunities in the sector.
NFDA’s Consumer Attitude Survey has been on hold since 2019 and we are delighted to announce that this will be returning. We have commissioned YouGov to undertake a survey that explores consumer attitudes relating to franchised dealers, exploring market perceptions, consumer perceptions relating to electric vehicles, examine spending habits in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis and assessing the awareness and understanding of the different options when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. We will be issuing the results shortly.
Registration spaces for NFDA’s Driving Digital: Special Edition are filling fast and I would urge dealers to register their free tickets before the event is sold out. On Wednesday 6 December, we are pleased to announce that OMODA (Chery) will now be joining our list of manufacturers (BYD, MG, NIO) in attendance plus the opportunity to see product first hand. To book your place, please follow the registration link below.
