Dear colleagues,

Next Monday 30 October sees the return of the NFDA’s Consumer Attitude Survey which has been on hold since 2019 . NFDA commissioned YouGov to undertake a survey that explores consumer attitudes relating to franchised dealers, market perceptions, electric vehicles and to examine spending habits in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis. With over 2000 responses from UK driving licence holders, we have captured a range of insights from a regional spread across the UK. NFDA will continue to commission the Consumer Attitude Survey every year to track changes in consumer attitudes, building a data set that will inform future decision-making.

This week concluded our final round of regionals for 2023 and it was great to attend the Midlands event. These meetings are critical to NFDA operations, receiving feedback directly from members and listening to where support is needed. They also facilitate a great forum for debate and a chance to hear from regional peers who are dealing with similar issues.
