Peter Johnson has been appointed Chairman of the RMI National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) with effect from 7 July 2011.
Peter’s recent roles have included Chairman of the Rank Group, Senior Independent Director of Bunzl plc, and the Wates Group. He was previously Chairman of Inchcape plc from 2006 to 2010 and Chief Executive of Inchcape plc from 2000 to 2006.
Commenting on his new role Peter Johnson said “I am delighted to be appointed as Chairman of the NFDA and look forward to supporting the franchise sector in the interesting and challenging times ahead and developing a constructive relationship with manufacturers.”
Sue Robinson, NFDA Director added “I am extremely pleased that Peter has taken on the role, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and I know he will continue to drive the NFDA forward, I look forward to working with him.”
