“Today’s announcement from Roads Minister Stephen Hammond that the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has officially been launched, is very positive news”, commented Sue Robinson, Director of the National Franchised Dealers Association.
DVSA replaces the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA). It will be responsible for setting, testing and enforcing driver and vehicle standards in Great Britain.
Robinson continued, “The NFDA submitted a response to the consultation in 2013, and hope that this move into simplifying these testing services will make it easier for consumers”.
